Lisa Ward-Ross retiring after nearly four decades with ECVC nonprofit, eight years as CEO

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – The CEO of ECVC, a nonprofit in the east, is retiring and passing the torch after working with the company since the 1980s.

Lisa Ward-Ross has been serving as CEO since 2016. Under her leadership, officials say, ECVC has grown its federal contracts and become a consistent, reputable contributor to workforce development efforts in Pitt County.

Founded in 1965, the nonprofit says ECVC is an agency that derives revenue from packaging, manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution of products for government and commercial customers, job placement services for persons with disabilities, janitorial contracts with local government and private businesses, and an on-site custom frame shop.
