GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – Six employees at an Eastern Carolina business were honored just before Christmas.
Eastern Carolina Vocational Center (ECVC) says the employees were presented with Foundation Awards at a Christmas lunch on December 20th.
Located at 2100 North Greene Street in Greenville, ECVC is a “non-profit agency that derives revenue from packaging, manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution of products for government and commercial customers, job placement services, janitorial contracts with local government and private businesses, and an on-site custom frame shop.”
The awards and winners were:
- The Morris Brody Award for Excellence was presented to Tyrrell Best, receiving clerk.
- The Walter B. Jones Jr. Award for Excellence was presented to Cassandra Anderson, cleaner.
- The Walter L. Williams Award for Excellence was presented to Glory Floyd, packer.
- Meritorious Service Award winners were: Mirna Martinez (cleaner/floor technician); Perlie Gregg (C&D sorter); and Ashka Lewis (program manager, facility services).
