As part of Grow Local Week 2025, ECVC was proud to host students from Pitt County Schools and give them an inside look at how we provide employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities and deliver high-quality business services.
During the weeklong initiative, which connects students with local employers, ECVC welcomed student groups into our facilities for hands-on learning experiences and career exploration. Participants had the opportunity to tour our operations, interact with staff, and gain valuable insight into our work in manufacturing, packaging, kitting, and custom framing.
By showcasing our mission in action, we helped students see the value of inclusive employment and discover career pathways they may not have previously considered.
Grow Local Week is an initiative led by the Greenville-Pitt County Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with Pitt County Schools and other community partners. This year, over 2,600 students took part in more than 130 career exploration events across the region.
At ECVC, we’re committed to investing in the future workforce and helping young people—including those with disabilities—see what’s possible when inclusive employment is prioritized.
