ECVC Receives Inaugural BBB Catalyst Award for Community Impact

Eastern Carolina Vocational Center (ECVC) is proud to have received the inaugural BBB Catalyst Award from the Better Business Bureau serving Eastern Carolinas at the 2026 BBB Awards Ceremony in Raleigh.

The Catalyst Award recognizes nonprofits and mission-driven organizations that place service at the core of their operations and make a meaningful impact in their communities.

ECVC Marketing Manager, Dianna Sasser, attended the ceremony and accepted the award on behalf of the organization.

For more than 60 years, ECVC has worked to help persons with disabilities attain a higher quality of life through the achievement of their vocational goals. Through employment opportunities, vocational services, and partnerships with government and commercial customers, ECVC remains committed to creating opportunities for people with disabilities while providing quality products and services to its customers.

Receiving the inaugural Catalyst Award is a meaningful recognition of that commitment and of the work ECVC employees carry out each day in support of our mission and the communities we serve.
