Guiding Our Mission Through Community Leadership

The ECVC Board of Directors provides strategic guidance, governance, and oversight in support of our mission: to help people with disabilities achieve meaningful employment and greater independence.

Comprised of community leaders and professionals from diverse industries, the board plays a key role in shaping ECVC’s long-term direction, ensuring accountability, and championing inclusive workforce development throughout eastern North Carolina.

ECVC Board of Directors Responsibilities

Members of the ECVC Board of Directors:

  • Oversee organizational strategy and fiscal health

  • Support compliance with AbilityOne, GSA, and state contract requirements

  • Serve as advocates for disability inclusion and economic opportunity

  • Help build partnerships across government, nonprofit, and business sectors

Additionally, board members often participate in special events, committee work, and mission advancement efforts throughout the year.
