Community Engagement & Programs
What is AbilityOne and how is ECVC involved?
The AbilityOne Program is a federal initiative that creates employment opportunities for people who are blind or have significant disabilities. ECVC participates as a Nonprofit Agency (NPA) providing products and services to the federal government under this program.
Does ECVC offer internships or school partnerships?
Yes. We partner with local schools and universities to provide internship opportunities and job exploration programs for students with disabilities. In addition, ECVC proudly funds endowed scholarships for students with disabilities attending Pitt Community College and East Carolina University.
How can I support ECVC’s mission?
